Sound Production / Briefing
Mr Razif continued to start the first lecture of the sound introduction as well as the first Audition tutorial for the warm-up exercise. Sound is produced by vibration, it travels through all forms of matter such as solid, liquid and gas. Sound can't travel through a vacuum.

Sound waves vibrate at different rates or "frequencies" as they move through the air. Frequency is measured in cycles per second (Hertz/Hz). Psychoacoustic means the human perception/reaction to sound or the physiological impact of music and sound.
Properties of musical sound:
- Pitch: Frequency of sound
- Loudness: Intensity of sound
- Timbre: Quality of sound
- Perceived duration: Pace of sound
- Envelope: Structure of particular sound
- Spatialization: Placement of sound

Sound Production / Sound Shaping
Today Mr Razif guide us to do some revision on the Rack Effect's parametric equalizer setting to reshape and mimic the sound in a various real-life circumstance like the sound effect of people talking inside the hall, people talking far away...etc.
Rack Effect:
- To apply nondestructive adjustment on the original audio (unless you click to apply)
- Rack Effect > Parametric Equalizer Setting
- Rack Effect > Amplitude compression > Hard Limiter > Max Amplitude > 0 or -0.1 dB
- Rack Effect > Full Reverb / Reverb (echo) > Preset

Sound - EX 1 / Sound Corrections
After we did with the sound production lecture, Mr Razif guides us through the Adobe Audition software. Students were given a file with several version of audios. Our small exercise was to listen to the audio given and identify the differences between the original soundtrack, continue to edit it by using the parametric equalizer setting to make them sound alike to the original soundtrack. Below was the screenshot of the settings.
Sound - EX 2 / Sound Shaping
The audio remix of:
- Telephone Call
- Closet / Close Room
- Walkie Talkie
- Big Stadium
- Bathroom/Toilet

Sound - EX 3 / Sound Design Techniques
After the lectures, students need to make use of all the sound editing techniques to manipulate the audio given. Students tasked to create 3 audio design which are Variation of punchy sound, Alien/Monster voice as well as the Deep Rich Explosion. Below were some of the progress screenshot as well as the google slide with the completed sound design.
