Professional Development Week - Reflection
Week 8 (17/10/22 - 23/10/22) Ng Mei Ying (0340563) Major Project PDW Reflection Writing During the professional development week located in week 8, students were required to participate in various industry talks that provided the chance to engage final-year students with well-experienced recruiters. During PDW week, I participated in a total of seven insightful webinars. Monday, October 17, 2022 "Financial Literacy" by Mr. Fairuz Maybank This is the first webinar I participated in. Mr. Fairuz shared with students the importance of starting a personal budgeting plan as a youngster as it helps to create financial stability at all times. There were six main steps given to kick start the budgeting plan which included saving our first RM 1,000, identifying and settling high-interest debt in advance, investing in an emergency fund, and many more.
